In our Montessori curriculum, we talk about being a peace maker among our classroom. I would love to build their knowledge of our world through this peaceful curriculum. These books will help guide our peace curriculum and teach my students the importance of peace, kindness, and good will towards others. There are also several books that discuss important people throughout history and how we treat others who may be different from us. I would to add the importance of treating others kindly to my curriculum. Some of the books include "Good People Everywhere," by Lynea Gillen and "Hiawatha and the Peacemaker," by Robbie Robertson.
