My students are currently exposed to computers for only 40 minutes per week; thus, Chromebooks will make a difference in my students learning and improve their school lives in many aspects since we will use them on a daily basis. The skills they will acquire through your generous donation will allow my students to become college and career ready in the long run. Students will be able to learn how to use Google Classroom which will allow students to navigate different areas, such as writing essays on Google Docs which will help them with their typing skills; sharing their work online with their peers and myself, which will aid them through the process of editing and revising; know how to construct an online presentation; and go onto high school and college, all while prepping them to take the online California State Test, Smarter Balance Practice Consortium (SBAC).
