My students are an amazing group of English Learners who love to learn! I work with kindergarten through fifth graders who come from a wide variety of language backgrounds. My students develop their English language skills through STEM projects, science inquiry activities, and literature. Students from all grade levels enjoy these authentic learning experiences that motivate them to create, collaborate, and apply their knowledge. My classroom is an encouraging, supportive environment where students are comfortable taking risks, sharing ideas, and making connections. My students flourish when they are challenged to be creative and stretch their thinking.
