Currently, I have two obsolete desktop computers in my classroom where students can access our computer two times a week, but they need more time. They need time to develop technological skills as well as develop literacy. My students need additional computers to access literacy programs to be able to be competitive with other kindergartners in our county. Students will use programs such as i-station, ABC ya, and Starfall. We also have many different PowerPoint sight word and sentence structure activities for learning. Students will have two thirds more time developing literacy and technological skills.
