Hello Everyone! My name is Mary Newman and I am in my third year of teaching at Country Place Elementary. I LOVE what I do. It is the most challenging job I have ever done, but definitely the most rewarding. I want to provide my students with all the opportunities that I can for hands on learning and allow them to see the joy in learning and I hope they find the desire to want to keep learning as they continue with school each year. Learning should be fun for them, if we can't engage our students, we will get nowhere! My goal is to find a way to get ALL of my students 100% engaged! My students come from backgrounds of mainly economic hardship and parents struggling to support their families, which keeps parent involvement at a minimum.I am doing all I can to keep my students excited to come to school each day. I can only hope this project will help me in my goal and your support means the world to me! :)
