How do you become better at anything? By practicing, of course. Each week my students get to "book shop" for new books to fill their reading bags! The books from this grant will provide 60 new fiction and non-fiction books to add to our check out library. The students will get to fill their reading bags with books to read during independent and at home reading! I want to be able to provide my students with a wide variety of books to spark their love of reading! I have already begun to see that spark in some of my students! I am so excited to see how far my students come as readers because I hear first grade is the year they really take off. These books will help my students take their reading to a whole new level!
