I am excited to be their teacher and explore the world together. Each child is unique and brings amazing gifts to our classroom. It is my hope that I can find new ways to tap into these gifts and provide them with multiple experience for growth. One thing that I've noticed is how intrigued my students get when I incorporate technology into our day. Every time I bring in my iPad they want to help me press the screen in order to activate their favorite song, story or game that I've downloaded. Unfortunately because of their age (3 years old) and because many of them do not have siblings - sharing and taking turns can often be quite difficult. The fact that my students also have Autism can play a factor in a their frustration and often makes waiting stressful. Although these are important skills to learn, it would be so helpful to have a few more iPads so that more students can participate while they are still acquiring patience and an understanding of others needs.
