My classroom is a safe place for my small group of second and third grade students who face emotional and behavioral disabilities. These students on a daily basis must face a world that is often too overwhelming, loud, and judgmental. My students work everyday to overcome their challenges, and find new ways to cope with the feelings that cloud their ability to learn, create meaningful relationships and explore the world around them. My students love learning, they love feeling proud about who they are and the work that they can accomplish. We would love to have the supplies to create a more therapeutic classroom, and the ability to engage the students through technology. Our goal is to give each student what they need to be successful in any setting because they matter.

About my class
