That these students need to pass these new standardized tests to be able to graduate, with all these changes the students truly need more exposure to constant technology in the classroom to help them pass the test and graduate. Year after year, countless students shed tears and face the pressure and fear of not being able to even graduate from high school because of their yearly struggle with the state standardized test. Many of my students do not have Internet access at home, some of my students can not even afford the novels needed for our class, and I have even had students share with me their difficult family situations, where they are without a home, living in local shelters. Because our school is new, we do not even have a library for these students to study or use the computers in. The beauty of this new school, however, is that the location supports a population of students that usually don't have a fighting chance.
