In our remote, rural community students' internet connections at home are very weak. We have found that iPads allow us to hear and see each other more clearly during distance learning, sometimes connecting when no other device will. If each of our students could bring an iPad home, it would greatly help their learning. Funding this project would help our TK-3rd grade students connect with their classmates and teachers for more successful distance learning. Our school is a multi-age, one-room school in the mountains of northern California. Our students would have to be driven 20-60 minutes to reach public high-speed internet, so connecting from home is the only feasible option for them during this time. Thank you for considering our project!
