In the fall, my students will return to school, having undergone emotional trauma. The unwanted change in their house and negative disruption in the family can be addressed in a reading class, by utilizing Therapeutic Texts. By reading and writing fiction, our study on Therapeutic Narrative will be able to restore, repair, and heal their spirit and the wounds left behind the Corona pandemic. The materials I have requested will allow me to teach and help students identify their emotional trauma. All the textbooks deal with the characters' emotions and trauma in fiction. This will assist my students with being able to relate to characters with similar issues and see how character traits can resolve their adversity in any given situation.
