My students will become creative, curious thinkers and tinkerers by using the littleBits kits to create different projects. The students will use each of the kits and the interconnected pieces to make any of the multitude of projects offered in each kit. They will use critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration skills in creating robotic projects. The reusable pieces in the kits can also be used to create even more projects limited only by the students' imagination. This project will help students build STEM skills and foster curiosity and creativity through experimentation and discovery. The kits and parts will help students experience electronics, engineering, building and creating in a way many of them have never been a part of before. The projects will encourage a lifelong interest in science and engineering, and will provide some basic skills that could help lead to careers in a technical field.
