My school is located in a low income area, and the students home lives are not filled with the most supportive families. This means their families are there, but their family needs leads them to longer hours at work. My students require more attention than just education, they need the support and encouragement to keep moving forward. I have two students who were retained last year due to testing, and focusing issues. The last thing I want to see is them not succeed two years in a row. I have a classroom filled with loving students, who need to be able to move while working. This will improve their working skills immensely!
