My students are part of a collaborative team of parents, teachers, and staff who strive to accomplish great things through learning. They enjoy literature, new math challenges, and history. So far, this year, their favorite subject is science. They light up with excitement when they are able to do hands-on exploration. We have a smaller school, so we can be supportive of each other and our kids as they move on through the grades. Our school is unique in our area, as well as our district, in that we have the privilege of special education students coming into our classrooms daily for mainstreaming time. My class of 28 full time students is enriched by our four special day class friends who join us on daily work as well as on special lessons and projects. I feel that these materials will be beneficial for all of my students.
