I have been very fortunate to work with an amazing and creative second grade class at Horne Elementary. My kids are always eager to apply what they learn in the classroom, nevertheless, the lack of economic resources limits their opportunities to expand and share their learning integrating technology. Around 70% of my kids come from economically disadvantaged homes where many of them have mentioned to me that their only way to access the Internet at home is through their parents' cell phone Internet. I am very proud to be their teacher and a member of the staff at our school where every teacher goes above and beyond to meet the students' needs. It has been an amazing experience to see how every single staff member always interacts with such a positive attitude to create the best learning environment for our students. It is a true blessing to be part of our school family.
