My students need IPads and dongles to provide learning opportunities that are engaging, motivating, and appeal to different learning styles. Many teachers are not yet on the technology train. They feel it takes too much time or they aren't convinced that technology can enhance student learning and family communication. I am ready to jump on this train and use technology to improve my teaching and strengthen my home/school communication! My school has a wide range of students and families. My school is in the middle of an urban area, with 43% free and reduced lunch, and 100 English language learners. We have 457 students total. The families have a wide range of educational and socioeconomic backgrounds. My school is very diverse in all kinds of ways: culturally, racially, language backgrounds, religious beliefs, family configurations, and gender expressions.
