I teach a variety of 10th grade biology classes that are based on experimentation and inquiry. Most of my labs require safety goggles. The mission of my school is "success for all students." I feel that success in a world of science and technology, requires science education that is hands-on, minds-on. I like my students to be engaged in exciting activities that illustrate the processes and interactions of living organisms. I teach honors biology, standard biology, and at-risk biology. This school is a large public high school with an increasingly diverse population.
