I am in fortunate position to loop with my split class from last year. My students are independent learners who have been hand picked to be a part of the split class experience. We are part of a Title 1 district. My classroom isn't like most classrooms. The first obvious reason is we are composed of two grade levels in one classroom. This provides its own challenges as I juggle two different levels of curriculum. Students in my class help and encourage each other to excel at their own pace. Students in my class looked forward to science time each week.
