We are a free, public, charter school with lottery entrance: our sixth grade has 105 students who come from a variety of cultures and backgrounds since entry is completely by lottery chance. Their incomes, races, and availability vary. Students have parents that are engaged and care deeply. Their involvement is helpful. We serves students in seven nearby counties. Some of our students help work on their farm, and others live on a bus route. Our make-up is: 40% white, 20% black, 19% Hispanic/
