This technology will help my students to "soar" on their own. It will give them the opportunity to be successful all on their own. The technology allows them to use skills they have acquired to learn more skills. Thus becoming life-long learners. It allows them to work and learn independently after their morning work is done. The lesson I hope to hone in on are basic adding and subtracting, adding and subtracting with and without regrouping, multiplication facts, story problems, fractions and reading a graph. I hope to be able to use apps that deal with long and short vowel sounds. I have students who just don't understand the sound of long vowels. With this other dimension of teaching it is able to work miracles.
