Help this New Orleans Special Education teacher give my kids the education they truly deserve! My students have autism, cognitive disabilities and blindness. Our student population primarily comes from poverty and have little access to interventions outside of our school. You've probably heard of the term the "achievement gap". Well, our kids are struggling everyday to rise above that gap and have the same opportunities as their more affluent peers. This places a huge burden on the excellence on the services we offer. So we want to give our kiddos the BEST interventions we can! We don't want these exceptionalities or lack of access to services (poverty) to hold our students back. So we need your help! Can you help us by gifting our classroom with technology and materials that can potentially be life changing interventions for our students. Thank you so much for helping our kiddos.
