My school is a middle school with approximately 1200 kids in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. They are a mixture of rural and urban children with parents from diverse economic backgrounds. My kids are typical preteens struggling to find their identity while charting a course through crucial academics. They have hopes and dreams and are working hard to accomplish them with the limited resources available.
