My 8th grade students learn through Project Based Learning (PBL), a style of learning that puts the students in the driver seat and allows them to learn by doing! PBL incorporates REAL and RELEVANT problems into the class content and promotes 21st century skills through critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and in-depth inquiry. Student learning is then presented to an authentic, public audience, meaning their learning makes an impact on a community that extends beyond the classroom doors!
