The materials I am requesting are essential for students to take a mental break from class. Many of the materials inspire creativity, focus on mental computation, and provide students a quick refresh to be productive in class. Having an opportunity to take a mental break allows our students to collect themselves and head back to class with a positive outlook and renewed confidence in their abilities. Students will greatly benefit from opportunities to take productive breaks. As a Dean of Students, I look forward to providing academic structures for students to be successful. At the end of the day, being able to do what's best for them is my top priority and for some of our kids, they simply need a mental break. Thank you for your consideration.
