One of the foundational skills in Kindergarten is learning to read. My Kindergarten students will be learning to read, write, and spell words. While in the classroom students are able to use a variety of shared materials, due to CoVid -19 restrictions students will be required to have their own sets of materials. The individual magnet letters, magnetic/dry erase boards and markers will allow them to build these skills in a remote setting. Since the students in my classroom are often from a lower-income household purchasing these materials would create a financial burden for families.
