What does a student learning to read and a group of accelerated math students independently learning have in common? Headphones would greatly benefit them both! Students are lucky enough to have access to technology in our school, but so many programs cannot be fully utilized without headphones. Headphones are a great tool for differentiation and independent learning as they allow a learner to focus on work that is specific to their needs and interests. Furthermore, in an age that places great value in digital competence, we need to be giving students every resource they need to develop those skills. A high quality, classroom set of headphones will allow my students to utilize technology in a more dynamic and meaningful way.
