Having a class set of headphones would allow us to incorporate technology into our instruction. In our district, we have one-to- one iPads. On our iPads, there are apps in both reading and math that meet the students right where they are. They fill in gaps that students may have, as well as enrich students that are working above level. The generous donation of a class set of headphones would help us differentiate our instruction. Students can also use these headphones to listen to reading. Listening to reading improves a student's reading ability. They can also use these headphones to explore subjects in inquiry. Students can learn more about science and social studies topics by listening to videos and readings about different subjects.
