My students thoroughly love to use technology. They are much more engaged and excited about a lesson if technology is involved. Currently, we only have a few iPads, not enough for all of my students to get to use one. This project would allow for more opportunities for my students to get to use technology. The iPads allow for differentiated instruction. The apps will be used for communication, literacy development, math skills, reading for enjoyment, video modeling, vocabulary learning and simply for motivation. Since iPad's utilize a touchscreen, the iPad is more accessible for children who have learning or fine motor difficulties. My current students and students for years to come would benefit greatly from these iPads and protective cases!
