Currently, students are expected to learn from home in a virtual setting. The resources that school districts provide often do not have the capability of doing more than the bare minimum. By funding this project, students will be able to access lessons in a clear, distraction free online environment. Older devices lack the full capabilities that newer laptops can access on virtual learning platforms. By updating the laptop that I use to reach over 150 students I can create small learning groups, monitor their learning, manage virtual backgrounds and use varied online applications and activities that I am currently unable to do without long delays or restricted access. Funding the purchase of this newer, larger laptop, provides adequate tools to engage my students to the full and make this the best virtual year ever!
