I teach at a Title 1 school in a Black Belt community. Each morning, I greet 20 third graders with bright eyes and open minds. One particular student of mine reminds me everyday why I decided to become an educator. He is a Triple A student who is full of wonder and love. 70% of my students are struggling readers, but they are determined to succeed. Every morning, we start our day with the saying,,," It's OKAY to not know...but It's not OKAY to not try!"

About my class
