I teach in the Chicago public school system at a school which primarily serves minority and socioeconomically disadvantaged students. I teach an introductory physics course to juniors which includes a balance of rigorous scientific concepts as well as practical “real world” applications of scientific principles. Our school, however, often does not have the funds necessary to provide scientific experiences outside of the classroom.

About my class
