I have taught at the high school level for the past 10 years, currently as a reading specialist and inclusion teacher, advocating for and teaching a diverse student population at a local Title I high school. I am an advocate of public and whole child education and teacher leadership with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. It is essential to bring the world to our students in the form of field trips and more so they become global citizens and expand their horizons. I currently work with the Teacher Leadership Initiative (TLI) to further my own leadership development and pursue National Board Certification.
