Welcome to My Classroom! I teach Art to diverse student population at Central Middle/High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This year I have also been asked to teach some Biology classes due to extreme budget cuts in staff. I will be working with students in two disciplines, hoping to inspire in both. Not every student is going to be a professional artist, and while I teach with the intent of inspiring students to consider art as a vocation; I am keenly aware of students who this is not their interest and I want them to be inspired to keep art as a part of their lives. Every student can enrich their lives through expression, and through the ability to appreciate art and recognizing their personal stories and emotions in the works of others. I want their experiences to be as rich and diverse as mine were in the arts and sciences, and I plan to build projects with that goal in mind. Welcome!
