Our district has a blended technology program where students are expected to be on the computers several hours a month. Having extra iPads will allow more students to use technology at once so each students will get more time. Besides the blended technology, the iPads will allow my students to record their work in other areas as they work towards their goals. For example, in math they can show their learning by building a shape with four right angles and record their work. They will also be able to navigate teacher selected sites to read and learn about other countries and cultures or research topics such as their favorite jungle animals for a non-fiction report. Having these iPads will open doors to endless possibilities!
