In our Pre-K classroom, there are multiple iPads, two computers, and a CD player with a multiple headphone hub. It can be noisy and distracting to students to listen to audio speakers when there are various computers and apps running in the classroom. There is no better way to enhance our existing technology than by adding multiple sets of appropriate headphones. Headphones to use for stories and apps would allow multiple children to participate simultaneously in a variety of activities in the classroom. They would accommodate a range of interests and abilities that can exist in any learning environment. Headphones would help the students focus on their own activity rather than being distracted by the work of others.
