These books will be the beginning of our brand new classroom library. I currently borrow twenty books per week from our school library for students to read when they finish assignments or during reading time. This project will allow students to have a library in the classroom with a larger selection of books at their fingertips. Books from a variety of authors and genres will make our classroom library full of adventure and fun. I want students to experience the joy of opening a book, feeling the pages, smelling the "new book smell", and developing an overall love of reading for a lifetime.
