Headphones are an essential classroom supply. Since my students speak many different languages, we use technology in different ways. Google Translate, audiobooks, and various online activities are used throughout the day. As you can imagine, it can get a little bit noisy. By donating to this project, you will help students stay focused on the task at hand, ultimately, increasing their academic success. During guided reading and independent reading these headphone are crucial. With class space being limited, small groups are close together, so, students can have difficulty staying on task. The use of headphones will keep noise level to a minimum and maximize student engagement.
