We are required to provide eye protection when conducting labs in Biology. As a science class, we perform labs every 2 weeks and worrying about whether I have enough safety glasses for all of my students can become a constant struggle. As of now we have 23 safety glasses and I normally have around 25-30 students. This causes students to either have to wait and share or leave the classroom to borrow some from another teacher. For a science class, safety equipment is essential and with this donation, my students can all focus on participating and exploring without the added distractions of not having eye protection.
