One of the most diffiult tasks in the the writing process is getting started. My students have difficulty organizing their thoughts and coming up with interesting topics to write about. The journals and writing prompts will provide a fun and whimsical tool to help strengthen their writing skills. The prompt cards will help jump start the process! The prompt cards coupled with fun and colorful journal will be used as means of encouraging students to be intrisically motivated to write. These cards and the journals will used as tools to improve writing and communication skills.
