These amazing kids work hard every day to become the scholars that their teachers and parents believe they can be. Even though the neighborhood has its problems, these students rise above them through determination and hard work. My students love music. Every music class begins with the students singing the school "Alma Mater" entitled "Unleash the Scholar Within." Then the students begin their keyboard lessons where they focus on songs by great composers like Mozart and Bach. While others love Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars.
