My students are located in inner city Indianapolis in a rough neighborhood. The area is considered one of the most dangerous places in the states. My students come to school despite all their obstacles ready to work hard and do their best work. Students in my class are met with challenges of being behind one to two grade levels each year, but they work diligently to overcome their gaps.
