As a second year School Counselor, I am blessed to work with 250 seventh grade students! While my students hail from a low socio-economic community, they are some of the strongest, most dedicated young men and women you will ever meet. They are determined to make their families proud and break the cycle of poverty. The students at our Title One middle school realize success because they are surrounded by a faculty and staff who sincerely believes in them. We celebrate the fact that education is the pathway to achieve great things. My goal is to help my kids discover more about themselves and their dreams. Understanding what drives them to pursue excellence is the key to motivation. Thanks to the support from our faculty and the community, my students learn the keys the success and gain helpful tools they need for lifelong love of learning.
