My students will greatly benefit from this project because they will learn that not every student in our classroom is the same and everyone has a different cultural background. This project will give my students the opportunity to find their inner voice and to share their own cultural life experiences. The books will give my students the opportunity to look at themselves in books and find their own culture while looking at the diverse world. The block seating will allow my students to work in a safe environment while still allowing them to work one on one with a partner to share their own life experiences.

About my class
