My students are from low income families but have a desire to learn and explore. They do not get the chance to travel or explore the world around them as much as others may and many of them do not have computers in their own homes. They love the opportunity to do investigations online and experiments. Virtual field trips are always a favorite. Our school has one computer lab that we are able to use once a week for an hour and during that time there is specific programs that the students are supposed to be working on during that time to supplement classroom work and programs.
