My students need new technology, in the form of eight Dell Chromebooks, to meet their goals each week. Our classroom has a great need for technology to aide their learning. Students use technology daily with various DCPS bought programs. These two programs help students practice individual skills they are lacking. The laptops with give students access to technology and they will be more successful with reading and math! Currently our technology is scarce, and most often only a few students can use computers at a time. Often, the few computers we have do not work, or run very slowly. By the time the computer turns on, it's time to move on to another activity. In order to make these programs more productive, and students more successful, we need technology.
