All of my students want to learn while not being interrupted by the next student’s learning process. Majority of my students do not own their own personal set of headphones; therefore, I am asking for headphones to provide my students with the opportunity to stay engaged and on-task while completing their daily assignments. Seesaw is a platform that we use frequently in class. One of our favorite components of Seesaw is that the kids can record themselves and go in-dept with explaining their thinking. When students go in-dept to explain their thinking it shows mastery of their skills learned. When they are all trying to complete their tasks at once, it is really hard for their iPads to record their responses. It’s crucial for my students to have headphones that include microphones so that when they are explaining their thinking all of the “outside noises” can cancel out. This would also help me to correctly hear their responses when they are being submitted. These headphones will play a key role in my students being able to successfully complete their daily tasks in a comfortable setting where they are not distracted or interrupted by the learning of others.
