As a music teacher in the middle school grades, I have the unique opportunity of helping find their confidence, have fun and enjoy learning. In my class, I encourage creative expression, working together with others as a team towards a common goal and overcoming fears to become strong, independent young people all through the power of music. Welcome to my music room where all students accepted for who they are, where we laugh and learn and love to sing! I teach in a very diverse Title I school and my classroom and my students lack many vital supplies. With many students coming from low-income and disadvantaged homes, my classroom must provide materials and equipment to support their education in the arts so that they can find pride in their education and be successful in school.
