Hello! I am a teacher for Glacial Hills Elementary. We are a charter school that promotes and stresses the importance of environmental education and natural history. I teach reading to 4th, 5th and 6th grade. Being a charter school presents unique challenges. For example, our school building isn't really a "school," its an old hospital. My classroom is made up of three patient rooms. Also as a charter school, we perform on a very limited budget. But I believe the challenges we face make us stronger, as they encourage creativity and critical thinking skills which I do my very best to pass on to my students every day.
