I teach first grade on the Spanish side of our dual language program. I teach two energetic, excited and eager groups of half native English speakers and half native Spanish speakers with a handful of students from other language groups around the world. Our students are primarily from low-income homes. We have 82% of our students receiving free and reduced price meals at school. Our staff strives to support students and families from all backgrounds to ensure success even when home support is limited.
