Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During literacy centers, my students are able to rotate around the room and work at different work areas. This allows my students to experience many different types of work areas. We currently have two flexible seating options; small mats so students can work at a low table and high stools at a taller table. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are able to work at our two flexible seating tables. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make their learning more effective. The wobble stools are able to have some sort of movement for students while they work. Some of my students constantly need to be moving and I think this will definitely help with that issue. The sofa with storage will serve two purposes; another flexible seating option and extra storage for our classroom library.
